I'm Chris, known in the music world as C5. Originally from Oakland, CA, I've called Los Angeles home for the past 12 years. My journey in music is all about empowering and inspiring listeners through vulnerability and sharing my personal experiences.

Spirituality plays a significant role in my life and music—you'll often hear me acknowledging and thanking God in my lyrics. It's a cornerstone of my creative process and worldview.

I've built a reputation for crafting custom songs for brands and creating heartfelt tributes to those who've influenced my artistic journey. Inspired by legends like Lil Wayne, I've been honing my craft since the age of 13. Other influences include Tupac, Nipsey Hussle, Jay-Z, J. Cole, and Drake—each shaping my unique style and perspective in hip-hop.

Hip-hop has been more than just a genre to me; it's been a lifeline, steering me away from destructive paths. I've released 12 albums and two mixtapes, each reflecting my growth and dedication to the craft.

I've graced stages across the U.S., sharing the spotlight with artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Too Short, E-40, Chance The Rapper, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Usher, and 21 Savage. Collaborations with brands and public figures like PETA, Sephora, Cookies, Stiiizy, Target, Black Girl Sunscreen, Vegan Mob, Marshawn Lynch, and E-40 have allowed me to amplify my message and connect with diverse audiences.
